Community Tree Day is a mass tree-planting event which takes place during the fall/winter planting season by volunteers.

The idea of having an annual Community Tree Day began with Public Works’ Ken Jackson and Kevin Heifferon. The first one was held in February of 2011.

The goal of Tree Day is to promote community involvement and participation in improving our cityscape by planting trees in mass settings.

ReLeaf is thankful for the leadership of Kevin Heifferon and the participation of community volunteers.
